    my boa is in shed and he has been in his water bowl since last night is that normal??

    If he's in shed and the humidity is too low...then yes, it is normal. Whenever my boas soak I start to question what is wrong with my husbandry. Most of the time it's either the heat is too high or the humidity is too low. How long have you had him for?

    Jimi had the right answer, you also might want to do a thorough check for mites.

    did all that humidity is good type is good hes done this before when he was little.
    he is about a year and half and about 5 1/2 long

    All good info. One other thing to add (not really related to shedding) but a frequent soaking boa is a sign of stress (seeking security). Again, not really related to shedding but for some odd reason I felt compelled to chime in. :)
