Gettin Hooked on Photoshop!

I just bought photoshop yesterday, and it is awesome! Here are some pics I made last night and this morning.

Ive been meaning to get photoshop for a few months now..but haven't due to laziness :oops::P



btw- how hard is it to get used to?

Hehe I remember my first go at ps............those where the days when 56k was the thing and a buddy found it for download with serial lol. He could make some incredible things but I never was that good at it.

It was impossible at first, until I started following some tutorials, once I followed them, I figured out where everything is at and how to use it and what it does. The video tutorials are the best imho.

Good job for someone that only has have photoshop for the past 24 hours. I guess someone did not sleep much last night ;)

I've found that one of the best tutorial web sites is Lynda.com. I learned more from that Website than a college ever taught me. :gj:

I use "Gimp" which is the same thing as photoshop but FREE! And in my opinion, better... Again, my opinion... But cool pictures.

Thanks Deb. lol, Yep, I went to bed like at around 12:15, and only did so because I got frustrated at the gradient tool, I can't figure that thing out for the life of me, tutorials don't even help explain it. If and when I do figure it out, I could do some serious damage.

Thanks Nate, the tutorial site looks awesome, but its alil too much for me right now, but I am definitely saving, that site could help me out alot on some of the features and what not.

I use Gimp too! I actually prefer lasso'ing pics on gimp more than photoshop. Another one is good is http://www.lunapic.com/editor/

There is one text tutorial made through photoshop that I really want to do, but the tutorial itself is a bit confusing for me. Perhaps it would make more since if seen by an expert?

I have CS4 but find myself using http://photoshop.com alot lately....Doesn't hurt that my mother developed it lol


It is pretty much photoshop express embedded into a 1000 times better photobucket

Awesome!!! I LOVE photoshop!!! I lost my program awhile ago :( I was having a blast making siggys on another site. I guess I need to fork out the money and buy a new one someday.
