    Scale?
Where's the best place to find a scale? I checked Walmart and the only scale they had was a food scale and it maxed at 1000g and was tiny :(

By scale I mean to weigh something :P

Got mine at Office Max for $45. Weighs up to 10lbs in grams, and has the Tare feature so I can set a tub on it, hit Tare, and then read just the weight of the snakes.

There are some great ones on Ebay, usually with free shipping. The one I was looking at weighed up to 150 lbs (I think) for $50

I love my 7001DX. You can check out these websites to see it (I'd also check ebaby as well of course)....

You can also check at office supply stores for digital postal scales or if they happen to sell the 7001DX.

I got one that works pretty well from Walmart online. They have that ship-to-store feature (or whatever it is called) that is free, so I did not have to pay shipping. I am reasonably happy with it, but not totally thrilled. It seems exceptionally sensitive to air currents, so if the AC is on, I can't get a really accurate reading without doing something to block the moving air. And I am talking about really subtle air currents...not anything I can feel. I'm not sure if all scales that are sensitive enough to get down to individual grams will also be sensitive to air currents, because this is the only one I've had experience with.

I would be cautious about a scale that has a capacity that high. Usually the larger the capacity, the less exact the scale is, unless the price is very high.
