    Switched to Diamond Soft
Well I decided to give Harlan Teklad Diamond Soft a try since I got fed up with paper. Paper didn't allow for any spot cleaning and even with the smallest of messes, I was having to wash out the entire tub which became a big pain in the butt.
I've used Harlan Teklad shredded aspen and liked it for the most part, with the only exceptions being how dusty it was and having to pick pieces of aspen out of two snakes mouths.
So I wanted to try something else and seeing how Brad Boa seems to like it as well as a few others, I decided to give it a try.
I've only had it for two days now so I really can't comment on how it's going but I do have some pics of a few snakes sitting on it. It is *WHITE* and bright!

I've heard good stuff about it, and it looks very similar to the Desert Snow I used to use. I did end up picking a lot of Desert Snow out of a lot of BP mouths when I was using it...just saying.

EDIT: That Pied is flippin' HAWT!!!

Keep us updated on how it works. I always like to hear about other substrates possibilities. So I guess its real absorbent?. Looks good for pics:cool:

I was using diamond soft till this month. I really do like it. The only reason i stopped using it was that I have recently become unemployeed I have to cut some cost somewhere and 19 bucks a bag for diamond soft just doesn't fit well into our budget.

I haven't really had any issues with aspen myself. The main reason I wanted to comment is that your Pin is freaking HOT! So is that Pied...and the Pastel but there is just something about that Pin... God I really need to get into a place with room for a rack and then just demolish a few $thousand from the savings...

Most of our balls do stick out much better. On the other hand our daughters borneo short tail uses it to suprise anyone who opens his tub. He will hide in it and jump out to get you. Im curious to find out how much you guys put in the cage. I have found that my balls bed it down a bit.
