    Is anyone here a herpetologist?
Hey everyone, not sure if this has been posted before, but I was wondering if there is anyone on this site who's job is herpetology?

And if so, what you had to do to become one (the wording of that sounds weird)

Like what course in school etc.

    Thanks

Re: Is anyone here a herpetologist?
Being a biology major I have researched this myself. There isn't an actual 'herpetology' field. Everyone I've talked to has a masters or doctorates in biology, environmental, or natural science with an emphasis in reptiles/amphibians. They are self-proclaimed herpetologists. I myself will be one of these in approx. 4 years.
