Re: questions on night lighing
Cold Cathode comes to mind but you must have at least basic knowledge of electricity and I have never seen it in cages! Just thought i'd throw it out there.

I'm defiantly not recommending it only because I have no experience with these as lighting for reptiles. If someone does decide to try these out I think it would look great. You can actually dim these from what I hear also. The example site I used is really lighting for CPU's.

yes they are dimmable. now the issue is how much white light do they give off. and would it mess up the day/night cycle.
also can snakes not red light in general or does it have to be a specific light?
Re: questions on night lighing
I would think they wouldn't give off any white light. I'm also not sure if it would mess up the day/night cycle but if they were on a timer I wouldn't thank so.

Re: questions on night lighing
you could find some red LED rope light and route it into your existing cages. I have seen that done before.
Re: questions on night lighing
that priceeeeee i know the led rope is 12vdc and you have to have a converter to make it from ac to dc

what on earth are you talking about? Rope lights are like 10$ for 4 feet. Why would you need to convert from AC to DC?
