Switched to rats.. INCREDIBLE feeding response!

Well I switched my '08 normal from white f/t mice to white f/t small rats, feeding every 7 days. Made the switch two feedings ago.

I can't BELIEVE the feeding response I'm getting from alice with these rats. I notice a bit more scent on them than the mice, so I bet if my human nose can pick something up, the snake probably can too. It's pretty fantastic, these past two feedings, I use the hemostats to introduce the thawed rat to my girl, and not even 3 seconds later.. just BANG she hits hard.

I'm just ecstatic about how aggressively she is feeding and how well she took to switching prey items, and needed to brag :D

That's great, congrats. In that 300-700/800 gram range they can grow really fast, so maybe this was the food change she was waiting for.
