spider crosses?

i was was wondering if every spider cross has the wobble...thanks:D

Everyone of them that I know has the potential. I produced a trio of BumbleBees, and one of them does. I also produced a pair of Spinners, and one of them wobbles a bit. My HoneyBee wobbles also. These aren't bad spinners, but they mostly wobble a bit when food is present.

Seems that any Morph with the Spider gene can have the potential to wobble. From what I've seen and read, you don't find nearly as many train wrecks in the Spider crosses.

While I suppose it's possible we might find some other mutation that just happens to compensate for whatever it is in the spider mutation that causes the tendency to wobble/spin I would expect the odds of seeing the problem to be the same in the spider crosses as in just plain spiders. Both are just as outbred and I don't think that helps anyway.

I do remember when the news about the wobble first broke the reports I read from the big shows was more wobbles in the combos. I figured this was because with lots of just plain spiders to pick from breeders could only display the non wobblers but they wanted to show the first few combos and didn't have enough to pick through.

I think it's not just because it is a spider.......I'm gonna get flamed for saying this but my breeder spider male and female do not spin although I've had a caramel male that did this. I think it's more of something thats already there but "masked" by the normal genes or etc other ones. The spider gene may unlock it as well as the caramel gene. Thats just my guess though. Can anyone explain this better or different than me or maybe even correct if I'm wrong?
