is this normal?

ok my wife noticed on our pastel male that as he is getting older and bigger he is getting like white areas on his side, it looks cool but is it normal.

HEY!!! Thats what my normal female is doing to!!! I was going to post that exact same question!!...lol...I hope somebody can help us!!

hopefully someone can im sure its no big deal i just like to ask.

I've seen many Normals start to get the white outline around their alien heads as they get older. My Normal guy is just starting to get his now.

What ever it is, it really looks cool! At least it's not browning out!

so its really nothing to worry about.

Naw, I think it'll be just fine, and may turn out pretty cool.

thats what i was thinking but the wife was getting all worried so i had to ask.

Dale... you're asking about the white line that is cutting THROUGH the alien head right? not the etching around it?

yea i am talking about that white line running through it. as he gets older he seems to get whiter.

No idea if it is similar, as yours seems to be so specific in patterning, but I think we have all seen those snakes that get white scales sporadically as they age.

I think I have around 3 that just randomly lose color in a few scales here and there and it does not come back.
