    Why the hose??

It will be nasty to clean if the snake decides this is one of those times he rubs his poop everywhere....

because its cheap and disposable, a little bit rough and can be pulled out with urates/poop in it and then the container is easily washed. it actually will be easily cleaned.

This sounds like a damn good idea to help with bad sheds! Wet the nylons and put this in place, snake gets increased humidity and all over roughness to get rid of retains. PLEASE POST PICS of how you accomplished this!

bad shed was EXACTLY why i did it. and it helped out allot.

i used an old chip dip container and i covered the top inside and out with pantyhose and hot glued it in place. then i cut a hole in the lid.

then i cut up chunks of it and just spot hot glued it all over inside. hot glue was a good choice because it pulls right out and allows you to just replace the soiled pantyhose with new stuff. I cut up 1 chunk to line the bottom then i cut another and kind of lined it like a curtain around the inside top edge so it hangs down to the bottom. ive already changed it and it works VERY VERY well, and he loves it.

here are some pics i just bury it on the cool side of his tank up to the lid lip in aspen and it makes a nice hide for him and looks pretty natural.
