    new corn snake help
I was just given an adult albino corn snake about 4 feet long. He seems to be really underweight. Im not really familiar with corns so Im not all that sure. His spine is sticking out a bit and his body seems...square to me if you know what I mean. Is this normal for corns? I dont think it is but what do I know? I dont have a scale at the time so I cant weigh him yet. And I will get pics on here sometime today. Thanks

If you can see his spine easily he is under weight. Now depending on how pronounced his spine is he could be just a little underweight.A corn snake should be round like your thumb for example. What was he eating with the last owner and how often was he being fed?

Odd...that should be enough, unless we're talking about fuzzy mice which some people do give thinking the snake can't handle anything bigger.

A snake that size should be eating 2 ADULT mice or one weaned rat a week... at least, that's what my three adult corns are gladly taking. :)

Well first off go to walmart and pick up some socks :P,just messing with ya .Ok he does look a little skinny so i am guessing they were under feeding him :(.I would feed him every 7 to 10 days the two adult mice to get him in shape :gj:.If you need anything else let us know :D

If its as thin as a finger... I hope the owner has trouble with telephones and keyboards.

Definitely post pics when you get him and find out as much as you can about what he's been eating.
