Wow ! Thanks for posting makes my life a lot better haha i keep checking and thinking i might of missed it. Quick question do they stay swollen that large for about a day or so. Im going on vacation and i have a feeling im going to miss it. shes very close shes huge :salute: thanks andrew

By eight hours or so the swelling subsides as the eggs enter the body cavity. Sometimes you can see the spine being pushed up forming almost a point as the eggs grow and push everything up.

Can't mistake that for anything else! Thanks for the pics . . .
This is my first season breeding - after they OV, are the eggs pretty obvious when you feel for them?

Depends how good at palpating you are. I am not very good but Wes(wilomn) palpated my last clutch and said 9 and he was dead on.
