    Do you pre-scent with ASFs?
I know how important pre-scenting is for snakes... but since they are not nearly as musky as mice/rats, do you still pre-scent the room before you feed your snakes???

I always prescent. I move the live feeders in the room a few hours beforehand, and when I defrost I pull out the frozen feeders, and place them in the room.

When I take my live feeders in, I move the FT tray near the heater... between the two the snakes are about crazy by the time I feed.

Even in my old place. When my breeders were about ten feet from my snake rack. I would still place the feeders in a container and place it directly in front of the rack for about 3-4 hours before I fed.

For stubborn FT feeders I scent regular rats with ASF bedding as well. It seems to help.

They can smell ASFs... no doubt about it.

Yea, we like to prescent with dirty bedding and a bunch of rats. It really depends on whatever we're feeding live that day (we also feed FT), so it can switch from ASF's to Norway rats depending what's available. Sometimes we do both.
