    possible ovulation?
ok this girl is a 3000 gram virgin and she has been readily accepting the breeder spider for several months and she turned him away this past pairing i did not think anything about it but when i went to separate them today i noticed she looks really bloated she has turned down food for a while now so is this a possible ovulation. the pics dont really show how big she looks now.

Pretty hard to tell by the pics, an almost for sure way to tell would be to watch her and in the next seven to ten days she should should have her pre lay shed if indeed she had ovulated.

Most of my ovulations, the snake has a tendency to stretch out opposed to coiling. Prelay shed usually comes around 17 days after ovulation. Unless you are 100% what you are seeing is an ovulation keep pairing.

That's definitely not an ovulation, but it looks like she's building up for it. Keep pairing her up with the male and hope for the best ;)

I was thinking it was building as well.

The thickness of an ovulation will be really specific to the lower body. I find overhead shots are best for noting it, vs. side shots.

But I suck at noting them for sure. Some girls will thicken up and stay there FOREVER... it is truly maddening.

She is just a stunner though Dale, what a gorgeous snake, she is going to throw some beautiful babes for you.

    Congrats!
