Re: Very sick. possible repost
It's the killing of WC blood pythons for the skin. Note around the 1:00 mark the guy dumping live ones from the bag and another guy hitting them with a stick in the head. From what I understand the makers of the youtube film have a book or video dedicated to stopping acts like this.

This is a 1 of 6 post. Double click the vid. This is part 2 and the worst. Part one is them measuring a retic to see if it's worth using. Part 3 is the skinning. If you double click the vid the caption for the current video is:
"Wild-caught pythons are prepared for skinning. Air from an air compressor inserted in their rectums expands the skin, and a garden hose placed in their mouths further stretches the skin for skinning. Skinning is done with a razor blade. "

Re: Very sick. possible repost
When I was in Vegas my mom went into some Chanel store or whatever it was and called me in to see bags made of reptile skin.
Some dumba*s started explaining about crocodilian skin that you could still see the area where the hair was... What ahole.
Re: Very sick. possible repost
Very very sad, this was posted over on the bloodythons website. Its a means of supporting they're families over there. In some countries it's illegal to kill a cow, but here, they're slaughtered and served up at almost every restaurant.
Thanks for the informative post, it does shed a light on the industry.
