    cage size ??
ok well im sketching out the cage im gunna be building my bp... shes almost a yearling now and i wanna have something that she wont grow out of. so far from what ive read on here about others custom cages is that a 36'' long by 24'' wide and 18'' tall seems to be average- it works out to about 68 gallons - but also from what ive read a BP can live in a 20 gallon long for its life..... so would a 3' x 2' x 1.5' cage be too big ... if there is such a thing ??

It seems a little big... I plan on keeping both my males in a 24x18x15 cage... I think it'd be a little small for a female but it should do for the duration of my males' lives.

Yeah, people seem to overstate the size requirements for a male. 16" sounds good for height, make the cage as short as it can be while looking natural. I hate to see people wasting time and materials making cages 2'+ tall for a ball python.

ya a shorter cage makes sense for cumberson ball pythons... after all the higher they can climb the further they WILL fall lol ... but what about floor space ??... would 36ish inches x 24ish inches be too much
