question about axanthics

i have a quick question about axanthics. do all axanthics get browner as they get older or do some keep the more black and white and silver colors that they have in the pictures that i have seen of hatchling animals. is it a little like pastels where most adults turn brown and only a few individuals keep their vibrant colors into adulthood. or do they have to be bred into the hypo lines to keep prevent the darker colors from emerging?

Think that almost all brown out to some point, certain lines are supposed to hold there grey color better.

And as far as knowing if the true ghost (axanthic/ghost) will hold its color is still be to told cuz 2008 was the first year they were produced.

Some can brown out, some may not.

It does not always depend on the line either. There are browned axanthics from all lines and bright silver axanthics from all lines.

Just like pastels. :]

All Axanthics get darker with age. Some stay brighter than others, but I have yet to see one that stays the same color as when it hatched.

thanks i will have to do more research and put some money away for a nice axanthic some time in the future.
