    In case anyone in the area is interested, there will be reptile (& exotic mammal) adoptions held in Miami on March 21st. You do need to complete an application (& be approved) prior to adopting.

    I'd just like to point out that their husbandry sheet is frickin' awesome. If more exotic sellers had those hanging up and needed to be filled out before purchase, we wouldn't have these issues. Most people are lazy. They don't want to fill out forms on how to take care of the animal they want to purchase.

    It seems they took in over 150 last year. I'm sure it will mainly be larger reps & a few mammals, but I think it'd be worth it to check it out.

    I wish people were quizzed before they are allowed to buy any type of pet...at least to be sure they know the basics.
