    Baby Tank Size?
I am planning on picking up a baby BCI at the show here in Indy on March 1st...
Everyone talks about tubs, but I like a tank...atleast until it gets big enough for a custom enclosure...so my question is:

Has anyone started a baby boa in a 10gal? Is it big enough?
And if not, to what size/length of the boa would a 20gal long last it?

I would love to do tubs one day when I can have a snake room with controlled ambient temps...but right now I am using tanks and it's easier to maintain proper temps in my house...
ANY ADVICE is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have each of mine in a 3x2x1 RBI cage. I have a 2 year old, 1.5 year old and 9month old.

The two older ones are definitely outgrowing the cage-- quickly. We're making them each 4x2x6 cages.

So, I don't know what the dimensions are of the tank, but those are the dimensions of the cages I've been using.

Recall that Bci's like a bit more humidity than balls so design your tank well :)

Ok, the 20gal long is 30x12x12 inches...Compared to the sizes you guys have given, I think that would be big enough to house a baby for a while, atleast...
But what about vertical space? I can get a 29gal which is the same but taller, at 30x12x18tall in inches...would a baby boa benefit from some extra climbing area?

OH, and about keeping the humidity up...my corn's hum. right now is at 50-55% all the time. That is with an uncovered screen top, and a water bowl. So I think I will be able to maintain proper humidity for the boa...if I need help, I plan on cutting a piece of plexi-to cover about 1/2-3/4 of the screen top...maybe securing it on the inside of the screen top somehow...

All three of my Bci's LOVE to climb-- that's why their new cages will be 6 feet tall.
