    Question for the veterans
I know the winter is a time when balls tend to go off feeding and I just wanted to ask what's a common response to food when they're not eating. My guy is over a year old but it's his first winter as a sexually mature male which probably explains his lack of interest in the rats I try and feed him every sunday. It has now been 4 weeks without food, he just went through a shed two days ago but still he shows little to no interest in the rats I give him. I feed live so I know its a not a picky snake thing because any other time of the year he eats like a pig. He doesnt seem like he has lost any weight but does little a little skinner than his normal fat self.

Just to get the follow up questions out of the way, yes my husbandry is fine.

A common response to food when they are not interested is being... not interested.

He won't eat if he doesn't want to.

    It happens :)
