    Arachnoboards
I registered to get a membership at Arachnoboards 3 days ago, and I still have not been activated. This is very frustrating for me to not be able to post anything, change any of my CP settings, or even pm a mod to ask what is going on.

Anyone else have any issues when they first joined?

I had the same issue, but I knew one of the moderators, so they helped me clear it up.

Check your "spam" folder. If it isn't there, click one of the multiple links on the front page that says "Contact Us".

I don't think it's an uncommon problem when registering with them. :)

I didn't have any trouble starting up either. I hope you get everything worked out and hope to see you there :gj:

I joined a leopard gecko forum recently and had the same issue. After snooping around for awhile I found a sticky that mentioned they had been having problems with spammers/scammers recently, and that all new members had to be approved by a moderator before becoming active. The note said it should be ~24hrs but could take up to a few days.

Have you checked around the site FAQ/stickies to see if it's a similar situation over there?

I had the same issue, just contact a moderator and they will set you up. I can't remember if you can do this through the site, or via the e-mail notice they send you when you register?

2 days after sending an email to the support staff, I am finally activated, and I have to say....still not very impressed, but that is another story entirely and I dont want to critique another site.
