what does everyone use for bp tubs
what are the right sizes that you can use in tubs for hatchlings-adult ball pythons and should u have a hide in their for them
Re: what does everyone use for bp tubs
I use 6qt for hatchlings, 32qt for sub-adults, and approximately 41qt for adults. I do not use hides, but I do have all of the tubs in rack systems, so all of the sides are covered except for the front.

Shoebox for hatchlings. 6qt
Sweater box for juvies. 12qt?
Blanket box for subs, adults under 1800g. 27qt
Under-the-bed for bigger females. 41qt

I do the same thing with the exception of hides which I provide for all my tubs/snakes.

I use a couple hides for specific snakes but for the most part, they don't require them.
A tub after all is essentially a big hide where all of the snake's needs are met.
I found for sub adults and adult males the dollarstore has plastic mixing bowls and I just cut an appropriately sized hole for them to enter.

I have a 19 qt for my 2 and they love it. I had to rearrange the hides and water bowl because the house has really low humidity to I put the water bowl over the heat pad and it's all gravy now.
