Re: COULD this be a Regurge?
If it didn't smell it wasn't a regurge I promise you that. When they go in the bowl the water will break it apart so that you see what you're seeing sometimes. If you did the nastiness of pulling apart a piece of feces you'll see the fur and other such goodies.
Re: COULD this be a Regurge?
Eases my mind a bit then. It had NO odor whatsoever, there was not any other parts in the water and I do not have a picture of it.
Re: COULD this be a Regurge?
I would guess it's just fur...fur can't be digested, and sometimes it comes out as one big hairball...if it was in the water, they can be odorless...(I guess the smell rinses off?)
I've seen these hairballs before with my boas...sometimes they smell like poo, if they are dry...the ones that hit the water, usually don't smell, unless the snake dropped some poo in there with the hair...
Regurge that happens after the meal has digested for a few days, will smell worse than anything you have ever experienced...believe me, when you get a true regurge you will have a hard time not being violently ill and running out of the room...
Re: COULD this be a Regurge?
Haha, you kids make regurges sound like they smell horrid. I bet I would be able to handle the smell like a pro :P
~_~...
*stretches and yawns* Well before we test it out I think it's time to be hittin the dusty old trail *makes way out of the room*
Re: COULD this be a Regurge?
I think you should see what it taste like and we can go from there!!:D
Re: COULD this be a Regurge?
That's weird! I had two of my snakes do that last week - all that was left was hair. No discoloration or anything. I thought it might be regurge but two of them did it, it didn't smell, and my temps/etc. were fine..
very strange
