    COULD this be a Regurge?
Question here. I have never had a regurge with my Ball (or with our corns or our Dumeril) and have a question.
Here is the rundown. Fed on Sat evening (LG F/T Adult mouse as always). As always she ate with no problem. Tuesday night she was out and about in the viv and noticed as I walked by that there was something in her water dish. It looked like a nasty jumble of fur. There was no odor at all to it - definately not the described smell of decay that everyone states. Was this just the by products that she pooped out? Generally she defacates and it looks like a dog/cat/etc turd?
Would that have been a regurge 3 day after the fact and with no smell??

If it didn't smell it wasn't a regurge I promise you that. When they go in the bowl the water will break it apart so that you see what you're seeing sometimes. If you did the nastiness of pulling apart a piece of feces you'll see the fur and other such goodies.

Eases my mind a bit then. It had NO odor whatsoever, there was not any other parts in the water and I do not have a picture of it.

I would guess it's just fur...fur can't be digested, and sometimes it comes out as one big hairball...if it was in the water, they can be odorless...(I guess the smell rinses off?)

I've seen these hairballs before with my boas...sometimes they smell like poo, if they are dry...the ones that hit the water, usually don't smell, unless the snake dropped some poo in there with the hair...

Regurge that happens after the meal has digested for a few days, will smell worse than anything you have ever experienced...believe me, when you get a true regurge you will have a hard time not being violently ill and running out of the room...

That's weird! I had two of my snakes do that last week - all that was left was hair. No discoloration or anything. I thought it might be regurge but two of them did it, it didn't smell, and my temps/etc. were fine..

    very strange
