Just curious what size tub you would use for a female and her eggs and what size would you use for each hatchling once they've hatched?

Re: Tub sizes
Are you referring to a nest box? Or the tub they are housed in permanently?
I don't use nest boxes. All my breeding females are in my ARS 7010 rack, which is a bit bigger than a 41 quart sterilite.
Hatchlings I put in 6 quart sterilites.

Re: Tub sizes
Adult female as well as your breeding and egg laying tub is usually suggested to be 41q. Adult males 32q. Babies I believe is 12q each.
Also ARS-7010 tubs are 5.25x17x33 which is the same, if not minorly smaller than a CB70, which Reptile Basics claims to be a 30.6q. Animal Plastics (again slightly larger) links to Office Depo which claims them to be 9.25 gallons which would be 37q.

Re: Tub sizes
Well, here's my situation.
I might be getting an ovulating female because a kid in the next town over got her, didn't realize she was pregnant and now his parents are making him get rid of it so I'm trying to save her and her babies before she ends up going to someone who is going to have her lay the eggs in her enclosure and then let them rot and have her get sick and such.
Looks like I'll be needing a 32+ qt tub. Lol.
Should a Zoomed UTH be enough heat? Eventually she'll go into a 35 or 40 gal breeder; eventually being as soon as I can pick one up.
