    Live Moss Question...
So, I have a dart frog tank and am looking to purchase live moss. When I went to the last show the only stuff I saw was in a ziplock bag dryed and didn't look very tempting... Anyone know any good sites to buy a bag or so of this?

alot of moss can dry up and look completely dead but spring back to life when soaked in water. sphagnum moss however hardly ever grows once it dies. try brians troplicals or black jungle. those are some of the bigger names in the business.

I got some from Black Jungle when I redid my dart frog tank a few months ago. It came in a ziploc, but bounced back nicely. It's still doing well.

Thank you for the responses, I will be getting some. I appreciate the info, I have read it will bounce back, but at the time I didn't know that and I didn't want to chance it. Now I know better.... ;)

it's np problem. i did the exact same thing. i was offered it at a dollar a bag......killer price. but turned it down cause it looked dead. riccia is a good choice for land or water. thats what i am am building my current tank with, along with some pillow moss. http://www.aquabotanicstore.com/Riccia_p/riccia.htm

Hmmm, that's not a bad price.. I might have to get some. I was looking to upgrade the tank size soon, so I'm sure I will need more once I do that..
