    Freeze dried crickets
Can they work as a backup for one you run out of crickets?

I buy boxes of live crickets that last me about 2 weeks.
I buy them every 2 weeks.

But I couldn't get some this past week so I was wondering if I could use the freeze dried ones they sell in jars for a few days, and have them handy for when something similar happens again.

Once you freeze them they loose all ( of the not alot already) Nutritional value. So no, do not freeze them.

I use freeze dried crickets and mealworms on occasion. Some will eat them some won't.
