Display Snakes tips needed
Hello
What breed of snakes makes the best display snake? I purchased BP & found out that my 40ga display glass enclosre may nor be the best habitat for him. So, I am thinking of converting him to tub. Then getting a breed that will be better suited for display. However, I plan to keep my BP as my playmate.
Thanks!

hey you may want to look into a green tree python they stay hangin on there branch and they are very bright colored

Corns all the way. They are always out and about and come in every color.

woma python! :D
i just said that because i got one
Re: Display Snakes tips needed
a tree python may not be the best choice for a glass tank (I assume it's open on top?) because of the high humidity required by the species.
A rat snake or corn might be just the thing.
Research 'diurnal' snakes and go from there. Assume you will not be able to maintain high humidity in the tank and it will keep you out of trouble :gj:

+1
They are also very docile.

What is the best way to go about finding a good breeder? I purchased my BP at Pet Smart.
Re: Display Snakes tips needed
In my experience, corns prefer to hide most of the time if they have a hide. Not as much as BPs, but still not the best for display.
I don't have personal experience, but I have heard from a few different sources that some of the king snakes do less hiding. Arizona Mtn Kings are gorgeous, and supposedly out and about a lot of the time.

40 gal glass aquarium not the ideal setup for a GTP either.
