Any talk of snake ban in Canada?

I was reading the posts about the possibility of laws restricting snakes in the States- has anyone heard if there's any talk of anything similar in Canada?

im in toronto, ontario but i havent heard of anything restricting captive snakes in Canada, ill check the reptilescanada.com forums im sure if there were talks someone would have something to say in there

there are municipal bans in place in different areas ... i know in Barrie there in a by-law on all boids... so if someone complains u get slapped with a fine n they take ur baby(s)

I know I haven't heard anything here about it (Alberta)

hey just getting back to you, again im in toronto and i skimmed through the reptilescanada.com website and there forums and havent seen anything mentioning an upcoming ban or rumors, but like someone previously posted there are some parts with restrictions

Not sure what happened with it but there was a proposed ban in BC around the same time they initially brought up the boa and python ban in the Southern US.
