    Temps in cage
    Hey everyone
I am having problems with my heat. The termo is reading about 74, but i did not have the light on the cage, I am waiting to see if the light will bring up the temps. I am planning on getting a moon light tomorrow. I have a blanket over the cage to help hold in the heat. My room got real cold today because of the temps in our area. Any answers or questions??? He is about 3 1/2 feet, I have a UTH and now the light, any ideas or anything(I am waiting to see if the temps rise)

Can u tell us a little more on setup?

Wat type of thermometers. Are you using a thermostat? 74 on the hot or cold side??

You insulate cage with cardboard..but it only helps a little. better off raising ur house temp or gettin a heater.

temps should be ~90 hot ~80 cold.

ok, that was on the cold side.LOL sorry about not being specific. the hot side is around 92-93, and I do use a rheostat ( I do not have the money right now to buy a thermostat) It does seem to be doing its job right. I use thermometers with probes, One is on the top layer of the substrate, and one is Buried to where it reads the Hottest point the snake can get to..on the UTH. any other questions or answers

ur best bet is to put another UTh on the otherside with a rheostat

or a blue bulb or CHE...but that will kill ur humidity.

That shoould bump up ur temps

Winter sucks don't it lol...Albany is pretty brutal weather wise
