Poor Kids, Poor Dogs, and IDIOT OF A DAD!!
Read this and had to share it. I feel sorry for the kids and pets in this story who from what I read seem to have been neglected. And I am very surprised and pleased to see that the people covering this story did not focus on the breed of the dogs involved.

I feel bad for the little girl. I hope she will be alright. It is the dad's fault for letting the little girl outside unattended, but the dogs should not have attacked. IMO, the dogs should be euthanized. BTW, if he is a known sex offender, then why is he allowed to have custody of a little girl? That does not seem right to me.

Although I do feel sympathy for the girl... it all goes back to training and obedience of these pit bulls... it says that the dogs were only there for a week and a half as rescues... they could have came from *any* environment, so pretty much their temperament in the long term was unknown for the time being. The dad should have known better than this... especially with taking the responsibility of having pit bulls... not saying that in a bad way so to speak, but training and obedience from the get go is the only way to prevent bad situations like this from happening... :(

i agree woth pythonparalyze. the dogs were at a "temp home" for a reason, its the fathers fault for not having them in a are where the kids cannot interact with them. as for should the dogs be put down, well not to try and defend them because im not , but they really need to be in a situation with a person whos going to acutally do there job and asses there habits. as all was punish the deed not the breed
