    My first JCP
I just got my first JCP. I always thought these guys were vicious but I have met so many nice ones that I decided to give one a try. I guess its when they are young thay are nippy. I just had the impression they were an aggresive snake since I had originally seen them at shows and they were all striking at thier tubs lids. Well this little guy is pretty docile so far. A little head shy but he seems to be curious about everything. I figured I can take a few nips from a little guy like him so He will be good and used to being handled by the time he is big. His yellows re already atrting to show so I hope he will be a looker. He is 9 mnths old,and I think he is just adorable. Still needs a name.

He's gonna be a looker, and since they have a reputation as bad little mothers when they're little... I'd name him Shaft. :)

Nice, my first memory of JCP's was at a reptile invasion show where a guy was talking about them with his fairly massive JCP and it tagged him right in the face. He stopped for a second got a paper towel for his face and kept talking like nothing happened. These are some beautiful snakes. --Josh

Never seen one with that coloration. Very nice. If I had him I would want him to stay all dark like that.

It's a diamond variant. It should hold a lot of the black and the yellow will either brighten up or turn into a tan color depending on his other cross. Looking a little like possible coastal but I lean more toward the jungle on this one. Either way it will be a pretty hot snake in a few months. Congrats.
