    Conflicting Interests?
Do any of you have multiple expensive hobbies?
How do you choose which one to spend your money on without making one hobby feel more important than the other? (don't want to hurt their feelings!!)
How do you keep your interests going when you have no money to support your "habits"?

I myself am very interested in Japanese street fashion and I drop hundreds for clothes. This summer though, my main focus is ball pythons. We shall see how that goes!

I collect art as well as snakes... the art buying has fallen to the wayside as the snakes are the priority. Once they become self-sustaining, and I see a day that can happen, then I will probably buy art again.

But my partner and I throw vernissages as well and curate shows, so we end up acquiring art in othe ways (trades and barter) so we still are increasing our collection even without conventional purchases.

My partner is an artist and we make custom lighting as well, so we are able to use that as well to barter and trade... just need to find someone that wants to trade snakes for lighting, that would be about perfect. :)

Thats really awesome! What kind of art do you collect? what style? Any specific artists?
I don't think I will every really buy art since I am an artist myself. Although I really would like to start collecting architecture books in the near future (as it is related to my major).

Well my husband has many hobbies. His Harley, paintball, snakes, drag racing. How does he pay for it all. Well his dad finances the family racing. Paintball well he would rather play backyard ball then field ball. Oh i forgot his guns aswell He justifies that with they are for me instead of for him "home protection". It all comes down to finding the money. He wants to work on his harley he doesn't go out to lunch for a few weeks to pay for the chrome. It is benifical that riding season isn't year around up here in the thumb. It helps that i don't have any hobbies other than reptiles.
