    Quarantine period and initial vet visit?
    I'm bringing in a crested this weekend. Or two. Or ten. :ohmygod:

    What is a good quarantine time frame for these guys? And what should I have done for an initial vet visit? Fecal, grams stains, swabs..?

    Thanks for any and all help.

    Ha ha, 10. :D

    You should quarantine for 90 days and any geckos from different sources should be QTed from eachother, i.e., if you get 2 geckos at the same show but from different vendors they should be QTed apart from eachother.

    For an initial check all you really need to have done is a fecal. Other than that just the usual visual check for clear eyes, clean vent, not too thin, skin not wrinkly or dehydrated looking, etc.
