A few pics from while I was away...

I've been so crazy busy that I haven't had as much time as I like for me, but now that I'm catching up I wanted to share a couple of my favorite pics from my two week trip to visit my family.

The first two are awesome! When we left AL it was 65 degrees and beautiful, and by the time we reached PA it was below freezing. OMG it was COLD! All this weird white fluffy and frozen stuff. Apparently it was too cold for the birds too, because one was taking refuge on my in laws door decoration. When the door was opened we had an extra little visitor. It flew into the house and eventually decided to take up residence to in the bathroom. I of course run for my camera.

While everyone was freaking out, and looking for something to 'catch' it with, I decided to take matters into my own hands.... literally.

We took some advantage of the snow, even though it rained on us while we did. We were literally the ONLY people on the mountain for awhile, but then three others showed up later.

Then we venture to MD, which was NOT any warmer. We took an awesome trip to the zoo. I loved these pics.

We also spent way too much time watching this baby elephant try to make himself a tree house. I was hysterical. He was one determined elephant! lol

We also saw two hockey games, and got to see my beautiful little neice be baptized. All in all, it was such a wonderful trip.

Looks like an adventure!! My dad used to live in Hershey....it is an awesome place. Sometimes it really does smell like chocolate, and he lived close enough to the stadum (or whereever they hold concerts) that we got to listen to all of them from his porch!! ^_^

Where is that mountian?? Is that by Hershey? If so, we totally missed out when we were there...it looks like so much fun!!

Oh, and I *love* the big poofy white flower :D

We went tubing twice actually. That picture was at Roundtop, and then we also with to Liberty as well. (at least I think it was Ski Liberty) Roundtop is about an hour from Hershey, and it was well worth the trip. Although I advise NOT going while it's freezing raining. :oops:

Poor thing was exhausted. It kept flying around the house, and just wouldn't fly out, even with the doors open. He even perched on the open door about a foot from freedom and then flew down the hallway. :weirdface

It was pretty cool! :D

Thanks Earl. I promise I didn't squish the bird. I have gentle hands. ;)

That's why I give you so much credit lily! Most people will just tell a story, but you reach for the camera and make sure we all get some killer pics.
