Incubator questions

I am making an incubator out of a wine fridge. It isnt quite wide enough for 11" flexwatt, do you think I could do 4" or should I try heat cable instead? As far as a fan, exactly what do I need to hook up a fan. I am not entirely sure how to hook up a 12v fan to a 120v socket. What kind of transformer or converter do I need? Radio shack was no help what so over. Does anyone have links to the products to buy?

I don't buy stuff like that. I find a DC adaptor with the 120-12V specs on it and wire it to the fan.
If you don't have enough room for the 11" then just use 2 strips of 4".

find an old cell phone charger or anything along those lines from old electronics

(the big black brick type charges that are annoying and impossible to easily use. hehe)

read it. look for one that gives you under 12VDC out put

12vdc is pretty fast, so I would aim for about 8vdc.
then snag a 120mm pc fan. and wire it up :)
