    Snatches of Conversation
I'm sitting on my front porch, white socks with no shoes, a flannel shirt and short pants, typical Ca. wear, eating a tuna on wheat. Two guys come riding by on bicycles.

This is the snatch that I heard:
"If you're gonna use drugs, you should always use a clean needle. They used to advertise that stuff right there man."

I am around people far too often but I can usually just tune them out. I know I've heard but not bothered to remember some weird stuff and today's little slice of life got me to thinking that I can't be the only one.

Share, if you would be so kind....

Well Wes, I overheard a conversation between a client and one of our receptionists today that she was going to have to send her helper in with her dog today because she was having bowel problems and couldn't leave the house.......... Does this count?........

BTW, this is not too out of the ordinary, just a snapshot of my daily life at the vet clinic......

Hmmm, I COULD say any snatch is a good snatch, but then, well, nevermind.

    Yours is excellent.

I hear a lot in high school classes, as you could guess.

This one boy, however, surprised me today. I overheard something along the lines of; "so, I found a bag of pot today at the bottom of the stairs.. I wanted to keep it, so I smelled it and wasn't sure if it was good. I turned it in to the deans and got 5 free parking passes".

I was personally surprised he didn't take it home judging by his history... and that the deans rewarded him when they have caught him with possession previously.

You are so invisible that I didn't even realize it was your snatch I was speaking of.

At least I was right, it is excellent.
