Finally, a thread for Alaric

I've yet to make a thread for my normal, Alaric! At least, I don't think I have anyways. :D I've put him on other threads but he gets a special one just for him. I built him a shelf and such so I'll include a picture of that.

He was hatched 7.9.08, so he's still a little baby! He's a little over 16 inches. Eating an adult mouse every 5 days. He is 100% het for Albino.

I love that picture where he's looking up, kind of like a, "Hey, how's it goin'?" face. Teeehee.

He's named after Alaric I, the king of the Visitgoths who ransacked Rome in about 410 AD. He was the first Germanic leader to take Rome and his taking Rome marked the decline of the imperial power in the west.

The name means "everyone's ruler". I'm not German and to be honest I don't really know how I remembered this name from my history book, but I've always liked the name :P I give my pets weird/strong names. My Rottweilers have been named Goliath, Beretta, Malichi, and Jefe (means boss in Spanish). I'm kind of weird about naming my pets. :P

there's no rehab for this addiction so be prepared.. I started out with one and moved up to 3 in 5 months.. beware!! lol
