    new bp owner
I want to get myself a ball python as they are very cool and they seem relatively easy to care for cause i am a college student. I found this care sheet on google: http://exoticpets.about.com/cs/pytho...lpythons_2.htm . Are there any other secrets, cause when i was a beardie owner there were some secrets that no caresheets told about. Can people also post pics of their set-ups cause it seems like a pretty cluttered space for 20 gallon tank

I suggest reading the care sheet on this website and look at various different threads describing people's setups. Oh, also look at the stickies.

Welcome to BP.net and the wonderful world of Ball Pythons. Please take some advise and purchase your new BP from a good breeder and skip the petstores. With out going into a lot of gory detail, it will save you a lot of trouble.

One of the best caresheets I've seen is right here on BP.net:

There is also a caging Forum on BP.net where lots of folks post pics of their cage set ups. Give it a look.

What would be a better tank:
    12"W x 24"L x 12"H (removable secure top screen top)
    or
    12"W x 36"L x 18"H (sliding front windows w/ permanently fastened screen top)
