    i found huge white oak branch that i would like to use in my cage.
    are bp's allergic to white oak? i do know i have to bleach it first then rinse every spec of bleach off of it then let dry anything else i should do???

    White oak is cool. I would use a very diluted bleach solution and rinse it several times in hot water and then let it air out for at least a few days.

    Should make a nice natural addition to your cage. Bleaching it and airing it out is a good idea. There isn't likely to be anything on it that could hurt your snake, but you could bring in some bugs or something that you might not want in your cage from an aesthetic point of view.

    like yall said since my cages is so big. haha (its nice though ill have pics of it when im done). that i need to add plants and etc which im doing to make it more compact. i just made a platform that im gonna put it once the sealent drys. There will be a hide up there too so theres three hides so far. put im ordering some rocks and branchs and plants to take up space

    Looks good so far.... Flukers makes fake plants that look nice...I see a lot of people on this board using them. You can get them at any PetSmart or Petco. You could also add some large rocks from a nursery or rock yard. They are cheap and they would look nice and also give the snake some rough spots to use during shed time.
