    i have a 1 3/4 ft ball python and i was wondering how long i should wait to hold him after feeding?

    At least two days or 48 hrs. is usually recommended. this just gives them time to digest. So there is less of a chance they will regurgitate there meal.

    ok because i heard you had to wait until it took a dump before you held it buti wasnt convinced myself. 2 days or 48hrs??????? think about it

    Please keep in mind that every BP is different. 48 to 72 hours is a good rule of thumb. One of mine takes a little bit longer to digest than the other, even though they have the same environmental conditions. Pay close attention to your BP, and you'll get a good idea of how long to wait after feeding.

    yeah, If you waited for it to take a dump then you could be waiting for weeks. Some people say two days some people say 48hrs. I generally don't wait 48hrs. If I feed on Monday at nine p.m. I may handle on Wednesday at five p.m. So I didn't wait 48hrs., just two days.:gj:
