Sorry to do the "what do you get..."
I know there's a million of them a day, and I'm sure you're all sick of it, but I really just have some sort of block in my brain the prevents me from retaining knowledge related to genetics. So please help me figure out what I should invest in.

Let's pretend the 0.3 poss. het pied that I'm getting next month were magically ALL het for pied... And let's pretend I can afford a male albino...

    What would I get from
    albino x het pied = ???
Would there be an albino pied in the offspring?
I don't want to breed a possible pied to anything that won't prove or disprove her.

Also, let's pretend I can afford a clown to breed to my het albino female.
if I bred clown x het albino.... Would there be an albino clown in the offspring?
What about a het clown x het albino? Albino clown???

If Santa and God teamed up and made all my wishes come true then I would get males of albino, pied and clown. I would be correct in my hope that the above pairings would give me an albino pied and an albino clown... And I would breed the albino to my other female het albino and the pied to my other female het pied... Then I would just need one more morph to breed to my last female poss het pied...

So what else could I breed to a poss het pied that would prove or disprove her, and if she is indeed pied, would make a cool morph??? I would love to make an axanthic pied but I think that would take a couple generations, no? Breeding an axanthic to her wouldn't prove her out, would it?

What do you breed to get a dreamsicle?

Thanks so much everyone for sharing your knowledge. :D

Out of 4 theoretically, they would all be het for albino, and 50% would be het for pied.

    50% het albino
    50% het albino/het pied

Clown x het albino same thing

    50% het clown
    50% het clown/het albino

Het clown x het albino... ugh haven't done that one in awhile so not real salient. I will let someone else do it.

    No Albino Pied

Albino X Het Pied = 100% Het Albinos considered 50% Het Pied offspring which you would need to keep and breed together.

In the event you would be lucky enough and had some DH Albino Pied, your chances to produce a an albino pied would be 1/16

    1/16 chance Normal
    2/16 chance het. for Albino
    2/16 chance het. for pied
    4/16 chance double hets
    1/16 chance Albino
2/16 chance Albino het. for pied
2/16 chance Pied het. for Albino
    1/16 chance Pied
    1/16 chance Albino

If buy possible het pieds it is gonna be a long shot, many pairings and many holdbacks which mean you might be better of to buy a pied.

Same principle would apply to Clown X Het Albino pairing.

100% Het Clowns considered 50% Het Albino

    Albino x Het Pied

    Het Albino Het Pied
    Het Albino Normal

    Het Albino x Clown

    Het Clown Het Albino
    Het Clown Normal

In both of these pairings they would all be 50% het for whatever the het parents were, so in the first they would all be 50% Possible Het Pieds and in the second they would be all 50% Possible Het Albinos.

To prove or disprove a Possible Het you need to breed it with whatever the Possible Het is for OR a 100% Het whatever the het is for. So if you have a Possible Het Albino you either have to breed with an Albino or a 100% Het Albino to prove it.

As for a Dream Sicle Living Art Reptiles says it's a Pied Lavender Albino, meaning you would have to take a Lavender Albino and cross it with a Pied, then breed those offspring together OR to other 100% Het Lavender Albino 100% Het Pieds.

    Thanks everyone.

I suppose I have to stick to the original plan of just getting visual males or def. het. males of the albino and pied.

I originally got/started paying for the het albino and poss. het pied girls 'cus I wanted to make pieds and albinos for my collection and I thought the visuals were out of my price range. Now that I've already paid a deposit on those I all of a sudden got the idea in my head "If I breed *visuals* to my hets, I'll get like half visuals in the offspring, instead of 25% and then I can make a couple bucks to make up for what I spent on them"... So I've been looking around and I think that if I save my pennies I can probably manage to get a visual male 09 of each. If I can, then I no longer need to produce them for my collection... So I was hoping I could make other cool things with the het girls.

I guess not. Atleast not the pieds, since they're possible. I might go for double het babies with one of my het albino girls since they're %100s.

And after the het pied girl's first breeding to a pied I will figure out which is an actual het and the next season I can go for double hets. :D

    Thanks again!
