wondering
i have just got my bp he is great, he eats on a 5 day schedule. i have had him for a month now and has eaten 4 times now but has not pooped yet he is in a glass tank 10gal with a wire mesh top humiditiy is constant 60 percent, i have uth with thermoastat, warm side is about 90 and the cool side is at 82 , he has 2 hides nice big bowl of water. im just wondering if there is anything to worry about. i hope i gave enough info. by the way this site is great i log in every day to learn something new. thanks in advance.

Nope, nothing to worry about. Every bp has his own "potty schedule." My adult male has never gone more frequently than once a month since I brought him home as a baby. If you are concerned just make sure that the near the tail is not overly firm (constipation) compared to the rest of his body, and if it is a 15 minute soak in warm water will usually help (approx depth of the water should be half the depth of your snake so he doesn't have to swim/struggle in the water)

Like Missi said, All BP's have their own schedule when it comes to pooping. I had one that didn't go for two months! When he decided to finally go, there was poop everywhere!!! so yea, prepare yourself!! :snake:

Yeah...as others have said its pretty normal. When it does happen it will be quite the log....lol.
Just to make sure...what are you using for substrate. Gotta rule out impaction, although i'm 99% sure it isn't.

It's probably fine. Just gently feel next to his vent; if you feel a hard mass there he might be constipated, but if not he is just taking his time!
