    Calling Guitarists
Assuming I get the hefty tax refund that I think I should be receiving and my current lack of care towards most other things I have decided it may be time for a new axe...

    I'm between 3...

Schecter Hellraiser C-1 of course w/ EMG 81/85 and the locking FR trem.

Alexi Laiho's Sig Model in white w/ the black bordello which I think may have a floating trem?

Or a razorback, I played a razorback awhile back and after getting used to the awkwardness and heaviness of it she played like a dream.

Weigh in here a little bit if you will.

    Re: Calling Guitarists
I am fairly new to guitar playing...

I tend to like the Gibson models. I have an SG G400 Deluxe (its an epiphone but it is what I could afford)

I have not played the guitars that you are talking about so i can not really weigh in on them. Hope that my input helps at least a little.

*I looked at the C1 that Patrick suggested. It looks like a good guitar at a great price. I have not looked at the other models*

Which models are you looking to buy? The ESP or LTD Alexi? The Dean imports or USA?

Schecter I can't comment on since I've never played one.

Well ESP Alexi Laiho Scythe I believe is what it's called.
The dean is the "Explosion Razorback". I've played the razorback but I love the schecter I have maybe just screw it and get the Razorback and the C-1?

Pattimus : Does the C-1 come w/ a locking trem. I haven't seen it in any pictures.

Plenty of pics and specs on that stores site, that's where I always buy my guitars from. The owners name is Jason and is a very cool guy. He can help you out and he has alot of C-1's to.

There's a ton of eye candy in there.

I think I might go with that actually... Looks like a locking trem to me.

Gotta love the finish. Schecter is top notch in my books.

(Still love my Les Paul though)

It's locking. You can see it at the nut and it locks at the trem. Please post pics when you get it!
