Is it still early, or did I do something wrong?
I've had my pastel and normal together since mid-december, and I've witnessed about 10 locks, but there were probably more I didn't notice.
The couple weeks they would be breeding almost every time I opened their tub, then they kind-of started to slow down. Now the female refuses to breed and I've witnessed no signs of ovulation :confused:. She has shed twice since I've introduced them. I'm not so sure about follicles because last year I never even noticed any follicles and she ovulated and laid a fertile 8-egg clutch!
Is there still time or did I mess up?

You are not too late, and things are still pretty early at this point.

Do they usually start to glow before or after ovulation?

Oh, well I've noticed she is starting to get pretty bright!
