    brazilian rainbows
my girlfriend and i were thinking about getting a brazilian rainbow, however i have done some research and they seem a little difficult to maintain as far as humidity and temps go. . we have a ball python and an armadillo lizard so we have some experience. can anybody out there give me any advice as far as the diffuculty level compared to a ball?

It's the same story - find out what they need and they're easy to keep.
I've got a breeding pair and just added an anery male to the mix -
cypres mulch in a reptile basics enclosure - mist every couple of days, and keep a huge water bowl in for some skinny dippin.
They are by far my favorites.........

They do like to soak, but I don't feel like they do it very often. We gave ours some deep cyprus mulch, they will burrow down into it, and the humidity will be higher in there. Mist them down daily to keep humidity high.

Just keeping check on the temps, making sure it doesnt go above 90, and keeping the humidity up is really all there is. It's a plus if you have snake experience. :gj:
