How did I ever live without a temp gun??!
I posted the other day about my issues with temps/humidity & how utterly frustrated I was getting.

I got lots of great advice here (as usual! :) ) and I was able to borrow a temp gun. It's absolutely amazing & I feel 110% more confident in my ability to do this lol! I love love love it. It's better than the one I will be able to afford but I can use it until I get the $30 one at Home Depot (anyone have any experience with that one?). I want to make sure I get one that is accurate however so I'm willing to pay more if anyone can advise me of a decent kind. The one I'm using was almost $100, which I don't think I'll be able to shell out.

I'm still just using dimmers for now (which are terrible btw, I'm experiencing alot of fluctuation in temps grr!) but I'm waiting to hear back about a tstat STAT! Thanks again for everyone's suggestions & hopefully I'm on my way to a perfectly controlled environment for Kash :)

I got mine new off of eBay.

I got a model originally for about $80 for $35.

    It's the Raytek MT4.

A temp gun is the best piece of gear I've purchased yet. Nothing like knowing EXACTLLY what your temps are, and where!
