    How Many Crickets a day?
I have been told many different things about how many crickets my beardie needs each day. The pet store told me 10 a day (he was a little smaller) but then someone on here told me that he needs about 50 a day. He is about 8-9 inches now so how many crickets does he need a day? He eats 3/8 I think but alot of the ones that were sent to me are about 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch and I have been feeding him about 20 a day and about 2-3 wax worms each week. Am I feeding him too much? He is starting to act a little lethargic and I have not been keeping up with feeding him veggies. How important is it that he has his veggies?

Feed him as many as he can eat in 15 minutes two times a day. Make sure they are dusted and he has the proper UVB. Also, make sure that the crickets are no bigger than the width between his eyes.

Exactly what I would have said, some beardies are not full from the 2x a day so 3x is fine. You wont over feed a young beardie! You can try roaches also, they have a softer shell and are meatier than crickets. A lot easier to breed also!

Turks are small and fast but breed fast. Dubia are large and slow but breed slow.
