    Shed feeding
Hey all, was just wondering if I should change my BP's feeding
    cycle around his shed?

I am a 1st time owner and only had my BP for a couple months,
he is about to start his 1st shed with me. His eyes are just starting
to cloud over and he has had a pinkish belly for 4-5 days now.

I have been feeding him live fuzzies on a 5 day cycle as recommended
by the breeder I got him from. Should I continue the same feeding cycle
or alter it some because of the shed?

Any feedback will be greatly apprenticed!

I always offer food on the usual day and allow the snake to choose to eat or not. Some of my snakes will not eat during the blue phase while others will while others go back and forth :)

My Normal guy eats right through a shed, so I always offer on schedule.

Are you feeding rat fuzzies or mouse fuzzies?

Wow- prey size sounds too small. Do you know how many grams your snake weighs? All of my ball pythons at 7 months old were eating much larger prey than a fuzzy mouse.

yeah my snake was born in late august, and she's about needing to move to something bigger than adult mice.

The large fuzzies I have been picking are just about the same size as
a hopper. Prey is the same size as the thickest part of his body.
I don't have a scale small enough to weigh him so I'm not sure of
his exact weight. Should I be going with bigger prey?
