    Second saddest day ever
So today marks the end of an era(well technically this past friday, but today for me).

The era I speak of is Stargate.

I just finished watching the final episode of stargate atlantis, the final episode in the stargate series.

The original move, 10 seasons of Stargate SG-1, and 5 seasons of Stargate Atlantis. More episodes than I care to go through and count.

I can't get over that it has, in fact, ended. For broadcast at least..

I still have a few straight-to-dvd movies to look forward to, and that is why this is the second saddest day ever, and not the actual saddest.

What will I do now?? Move on to Battlestar Galactica? Puh-Leez!

(and for those of you who care, yes I have actually seen EVERY episode, EVERY minute of stargate produced to this day..lol)

    Lol.

Surprised to see someone else up this late....but I am going to bed.

Sorry for Stargate...I have seen a half dozen episodes or so, I liked SG-1.

It sucks when a show you love has nothing new. :tears:

Least I'm not the only one that can't sleep.

I was never really able to get into that show. But a lot of people that I know from other boards did.

    Sorry to hear that.

Mainbutter I know how you feel. I loved Rome when it was on HBO and when they cancelled it I was very disappointed.

That was a great show! Plenty of blood, and war, corruption, intrigue, and the women were the most evil characters of all. I want more!

I hated HBO for awhile after Oz ended.

I remember that show. They lost me after a short while but it was very entertaining.

A local video rental store just closed down before x-mas and I picked up both seasons of rome for $10 each. I'm almost done with that too.. I CAN'T believe they didn't go on to make a third season!
