    I missed geckos...
I missed keeping geckos, so I picked up a 1.2 group of Crested geckos a few weeks ago. Interesting little lizards. I think these will be fun to keep :D

    The females....

The male is camera shy but I did snap a picture of the Christmas present one of the females gave me...first go around with crested gecko eggs, so we will see how it goes...

Sweet grats on the new cresties and eggs. Good luck with them.

Your eggs look much better than mine do. Congrats.

    Thanks everyone.

I wish they photographed better.....cresteds seem really hard to take pictures of for some reason...

Use the Macro (the little rose icon), if your not. This should help focus/detail.

I have no problem with the macro....it is getting the colors to come out right that was driving me nuts.... It varied from picture to picture and none looked like their actual colors to me.

The females have a green tint to them, but it did not seem noticable in any pictures I took.

It's all about lighting when trying to capture quality color. It's very hard to do and takes tons of practice. I still totally suck at it to be honest. Your pictures aren't bad though. As gecko owners (most of us) we know what they actually look like because we have seen similar. I saw a magazine with a blue crestie in it. Just the white balance and night shot.
